Project Funding

The Half-Cent Sales Tax will generate roughly 13.8 million dollars a year for 10 years totaling 138 million dollars in revenue for the County over a 10 year period. On February 22, 2022, the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners established Roadway and Recreation Projects to be covered under the Half-Cent Sales Tax. A complete list of the Roads and Recreation Projects that were approved by the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners to be completed under the Half-Cent Sales Tax are listed below.
